if your on shared hosting and create a local php.ini file do you need to redo all the php.ini settings or only those you wish changed?
Section on "Avoid sloppy server configurations"[edit]
The statement is made in the section "Avoid sloppy server configurations" that if you don't know what phpini and register_globals are you shouldn't be managing the security of your own site.
