Joomla 11.1 JDatabase::setQuery[edit]

Description[edit]

Sets the SQL statement string for later execution.

Parameter Type Default Description
$query mixed The SQL statement to set either as a object or a string.
$offset integer 0 The affected row offset to set.
$limit integer 0 The maximum affected rows to set.
  • Returns This object to support method chaining.
  • Defined on line 936 of libraries/joomla/database/database.php
  • Since Joomla 11.1
