Chris, this page seems to be template-specific, but this is not clear from the title. Parameters can also be used with other extensions. Would you object to mentioning templates in the title?
Also, I am not entirely clear where the files should be stored - you seem to mention both
html/parameters folders. I think that the references to
templateDetails.xml may be a bit of a red herring. Could we perhaps just remind people that they need to consider this when creating new files for a template, and link to another page specifying how this can be done (i.e. using

Ahh, okay. You're right, it is template-specific. That's because I was writing about templates when I wrote the page and I forgot to make it generic. :-) Rather than change the title I will look at revising it so that it is truly generic, then it can be linked/re-used everywhere.
