I would like to see the inheritance aspect better explained for a hybrid example. It is by default backwards than I anticipated. As in the standard Joomla setup focuses more on granting permissions, where as some may be more focused on denying permissions.

"It is by default backwards than I anticipated."
Please explain backwards
"As in the standard Joomla setup focuses more on granting permissions, where as some may be more focused on denying permissions."
Those who concentrate on denying Permissions are doing it incorrectly. It has been explained that If Permission is given Globally and denied for a category ... then every time a Category is created the Permissions in that category have to be edited. Giving minimal Permissions then Allowing the exceptions is the correct method.
