This just a little trick how to create more than 50 module position in Joomla. By default Joomla 1.0 will only allow you put 50 module positions. This hack will show you how to increase this number.

Open the /administrator/components/com_templates/admin.templates.html.php file and find these lines:

      $rows = 25;
      $cols = 2;
      $n = $rows * $cols;
</source>

Set the value of $rows and $cols as you want. For example:

function editPositions( &$positions, $option ) {
      $rows = 70;
      $cols = 2;
      $n = $rows * $cols;
</source>

This will make 140 module positions.
