Where do I put the css code exactly?

Well! This is a tough issue. The template_css.css file is were it is put. I put this ccs code at the end.
It works put it only shows the text in orange (I am not sure why) and it is a horizontal layout of the main menu items.
I put the main menu to the left and it wants to wrap the menu items looks goofy.
