If memory serves I think this originated in the J101 forum before we started this wiki. I'd completely forgotten about it. But to answer your question, yes I think this has considerable potential and if you, or anyone else, would like to develop it further then please go ahead. Chris Davenport 07:33, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

http://docs.joomla.org/Joomla_Beginning_Developer_Course#Secure_Extensions the recommended security tips link refers to a Joomla! 1.0 specific document, but also, there is a http://docs.joomla.org/Secure_coding_guidelines document, which is not 1.0 specific.
