Hi, I was download the latest zip file of the component helloworld and install to my sample joomla 1.6.4 site but on installation I got an error message as "Error Building Admin Menus". Do you have any suggestion?

Hi, I also tried to install a few of the zips of your tutorial on a fresh joomla 1.7 installation but non of them seem to work properly. The zip from part 14 gives the best result. You can create or edit the categories-part, f.e. but not add or edit messages. I get a blank page when clicking on the 'new' or 'edit'-button in the backend.

Rvsjoen, you have two really good tutorial series hidden away in your user pages. The docs team would like to see them moved into the main namespace and become part of the Developer Tutorials Project. You could be a huge asset to the wiki project because of you GitHub use for providing zip files broken into parts and downloadable. We are trying centralize all the supporting files for these types of articles into GitHub and if you have the time could help as a maintainer approving pull requests to files or something else smaller if you're pressed for time. ---Thanks! Rune, just letting you know I am still on it. Branching each individual part would be too labor intensive, David is just getting back to the States and catching up from a Joomla event. We are working on it. There is an External Data extension for MW and a longer term goal is to look at integrating Git Joomla Version data into the wiki with SMW or something along those lines for better dev docs with commenting, code examples, etc. Before last year's update we had a custom extension based on the Comment extension, but the 1.19 version of MW didn't like playing nice with it, so we had to comment it out from loading. Thanks for being patience, this will go forward. Take care ---- Tom Hutchison (talk) 05:58, 14 February 2013 (CST)
