Producers and Venue[edit]

The Northern Virginia Joomla User's Group [1] (NoVA JUG) Executive Council produced the event. Members were:

  • Brian "Sully" Sullivan
  • Bruce Scherzinger
  • Don Cranford
  • Dorothy Firsching
  • Joe LeBlanc
  • Ryan Ozimek

The venue was a large corporate training and conference center owned by Microsoft Corporation [2]as part of their Mid-Atlantic regional office. Use of the facility, including a/v equipment, was donated by Microsoft. The building is above a rapid transit subway station and was convenient to paid parking. Group hotel rates for out-of-town guests were arranged nearby by the NoVA JUG.

Following the event PICnet, a local agency which uses Joomla! for website development, hosted a party for participants in its Washington DC offices.
