This is a multiple article series on the basic guidelines for the correct usage of the graphic elements of Joomla’s identity, in order to create high quality, visually stunning communication materials.

The relationship (size, positioning, colours, etc.) of the brand identity elements should never be altered in any way.
Open Source Matters Inc. owns and oversees the Joomla! name, logos and trademarks for The Joomla! Project and software.
A Trademark can be a word, phrase, symbol or design that distinguishes the source of the goods or services.
Proper Trademark attribution through trademark symbols and credit lines and/or disclaimers help make the public aware of our Trademarks, and helps prevent them from becoming generic terms. Disclaimers also help clarify that they belong to Open Source Matters Inc. Please use Trademark symbols (® or ™ or SM) and disclaimers as detailed below.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of Joomla’s Trademarks and Disclaimers.
The absence of a product or service name or logo from this list does not constitute a waiver of Joomla's trademark concerning that name or logo.
