Description[edit]

Get the time offset from GMT in hours or seconds. 


public function getOffsetFromGMT ($hours=false)
Parameter Type Default Description
$hours boolean false True to return the value in hours.
  • Returns float The time offset from GMT either in hours in seconds.
  • Defined on line 336 of libraries/joomla/utilities/date.php
  • Since Joomla 11.1
