The printable version is no longer supported and may have rendering errors. Please update your browser bookmarks and please use the default browser print function instead.

Joomla! 3.1.2 wasn't an officially released version and my install was upgraded accidentally during a pre release error.

General Information

This pertains only to Joomla! version(s):- 3.1.2

What is the cause[edit]

Some people automatically updated prior to the release due to receiving premature notification of the release while final testing of the release packages by the Joomla! Bug Squad was beginning. See 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.4 WHAT IS GOING ON?

How to fix[edit]

The version is visible on the bottom right of your admin view or can be found by going to the System  System Information menu.

  9. Click Install the Update.
  10. You will get a success message saying “Your site has been successfully updated. Your Joomla version is now 3.1.4.”
  11. As a final check, visit the database screen by clicking Extensions  Extensions and then Database on the side menu It should look like the image below.
