Joomla! Documentation™

Hi. Should we have a section for people who are evaluating Joomla!? For example, they are thinking about changing from a non-CMS site to a CMS site and are looking at Joomla! and perhaps other CMS systems. These people might not want to dive into the details of how Joomla! works but would rather see what type of sites you can build with Joomla! and see the extensions available. Could point to Site Showcase forum, Extensions site, maybe some articles or case studies on Joomla! sites. Should a section be added for "Joomla! Evaluators". --Mark Dexter 23:11, 23 July 2008 (EDT)

I think it's a good idea although I would add the caveat that, like Beginners, it is actually orthogonal to the other profiles on this page. For example, you might be a web designer who is evaluating Joomla! and you would want different information than, say, a content editor who is evaluating Joomla! However, the nice thing about MediaWiki is that it is very easy to re-use content so we can set up multiple "contents pages" if there is a need to at a later date. So feel free to add the section (call it just "Evaluators" rather than "Joomla! Evaluators" I think). Chris Davenport 05:04, 24 July 2008 (EDT)
