A Joomla! Working Group is a group of people who are working towards one particular set of goals.  For example, Joomla! currently has Working Groups for Development, Documentation, Translation and Sites & Infrastructure. Each working group has a specific set of goals, tasks, and responsibilities. Each Working Group usually has at least one Coordinator who is a member of the Joomla! Core Team. The management and administration of each Working Group is the primary responsibility of the Working Group’s Coordinator and because of that, the Coordinator is free to set up and run the Working Group in any way they see fit and that agrees with our [http://www.joomla.org/about-joomla/the-project/volunteer-code-of-conduct.html Volunteer Code of Conduct].
