Mootools Library Upgade 12

One of the goals that I have for 1.6 is to get the MooTools library upgraded to version 1.2. This isn't as easy as dropping in the new library file, as there seems to be some things that break with 1.2. This page will help us to track which places we use mootools, and what works and doesn't work in each browser.

Please help us test the changes so that we can make sure everything is going to work when we do the library upgrade. You can do this, by updating the list below of places in the core where MooTools is being used. Additionally, if you upgrade your local site to test using the 1.2 library, please indicate whether or not it works. Please test also whether or not it works with the compatibility script.

Administrator Menu

MooTools is used to power the administrator menu. Based on a quick test, this breaks when upgrading to the 1.2 library, but it works again with the compatibility layer.

Calendar script

There is a calendar script that allows a date to be selected. This is incompatible with 1.2.
