Doe, indien u wilt dat uw website gebruikers zich kunnen registreren om toegang te krijgen tot meer bronnen, dit:
- Activeer gebruikersregistratie (dit is de standaard. Sinds Joomla 3.4 wordt het standaard uitgeschakeld). Dit wordt gedaan door het wijzigen van het Gebruikersregistratie toestaan veld in de Gebruikersinstellingen - Opties naar Ja. Kijk, om te leren hoe dit moet bij Wijzigen instellingen gebruikersregistratie.
- Optioneel: Stel het Registratiegroep voor nieuwe gebruikers veld bij Gebruikersinstellingen Opties in op de gebruikersgroep die zichzelf registrerende gebruikers moeten krijgen indien ze het registratieproces voltooien. Dit moet normaliter worden gezet op Geregistreerd (wat de standaard is).

- If set to Yes the user will be emailed a link to activate their account before they can log in. This is the default setting. This is a simple validation step because to complete the registration process the user must enter a valid email address to which they have access. - If set to No the user account will be activated immediately and the user can log in straight away (even if their email address is invalid).
- set up a Login Form somewhere on your website. There are two ways this can be done:
