This was originally written for Joomla! version 1.5. It is in the process of being updated to have screen shots and commentary appropriate for version 1.6

There are three changes to note in particular:-

• details of the appearance
• the way the the content heirachy is managed - Sections are no longer used.
• user access is more sophisticated in version 1.6
