This modules displays web links from a category defined in the Web Links component.

To add a new Web Links module or edit an existing Web Links module, navigate to the Module Manager:

• Select Extensions → Modules

Click the New button and click on Web Links in the modal popup window.

To Edit an existing Web Links module, in the Module Manager click on the Web Links Modules Title or click the Web Links module's check box and then click the Edit button in the Toolbar.

Details

• Title. The title of the module. This is also the title displayed in the Frontend for the module.

Module

• Category. (Uncategorised/...) Choose the Web Links category to display.
• Group By Subcategories. (Yes/No) If set to yes, web links will be grouped by subcategories.
  • Show Group Title. (Yes/No) If set to yes, will show groups titles (valid only if grouping).
  • Group Ordering. ('Title/Order) Ordering for the subcategories (valid only if grouping).
  • Group Ordering Direction. (Ascending/Descending) Direction for the subcategories (valid only if grouping).
• Columns. (1/2/3/...) When grouping by subcategories, split into # columns.
• Count. Number of Web Links to display.
• Ordering. (Title/Oder/Hits) Ordering for the Web Links.
• Direction. (Ascending/Descending) Set the ordering direction.
• Follow/No Follow. (Follow/No follow) Robots index - allow to follow or not.
• Description. (Show/Hide) Display Web Link description.
• Hits. (Show/Hide) Show hits.
• Count Clicks: (Use Global/No/Yes) If set to yes, the number of times the link has been clicked will be recorded.
