Does the home page need to be a front page menu item?

Considering the Front page blog layout menuitem doesn't exist in J2.5 and J3 this article should be archived. It is not applicable to those versions! Sovainfo (talk) 12:21, 31 August 2013 (CDT)

Thanks Sovainfo. In the future just go a ahead and move the page to the Version namespace, J1.5 or Archived: namespace if it covers more than one version or is something of a general historical nature. Strip out the categories and set one category, "Archived version Joomla! 1.5" or two categories by adding "Archived version Joomla! 1.0" if it is relevant to the page in question. Thanks again.
